Monday Quotes: Christmas

So, I’ve decided that every Monday I will do a post called Monday Quotes. Basically I will choose a topic and share some of my favourite quotes relating to that topic. Considering today is Christmas Eve and a Monday, for me, I thought that my topic would be Christmas.

“I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.”

Charles Dickens

“Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful. ”

Norman Vincent Peale

“Christmas doesn’t come from a store, maybe Christmas perhaps means a little bit more….”

Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas

“Mistletoe,” said Luna dreamily, pointing at a large clump of white berries placed almost over Harry’s head. He jumped out from under it.

“Good thinking,” said Luna seriously. “It’s often infested with nargles.”

J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

“One can never have enough socks,” said Dumbledore. “Another Christmas has come and gone and I didn’t get a single pair. People will insist on giving me books.”

J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
