Man On A Ledge: Movie Review

For Christmas, one of the DVDs I got was Man on a Ledge. ‘A 2012 American psychological thriller film, directed by Asger Leth’. It stars Sam Worthington as the main character, Nick Cassidy, or the man on the ledge. It also stars Elizabeth Banks as the police psychologist who tries to talk him down from the ledge. Other cast members include Jamie Bell, Ed Harris, Anthony Mackie and Génesis Rodríguez. It was released January 2012, with a running time of 102 minutes.

 13504

The imdb description is: “As a police psychologist works to talk down an ex-con who is threatening to jump from a Manhattan hotel rooftop, the biggest diamond heist ever committed is in motion…”

Which basically sums it up. But the whole time you’re watching this movie, you’re trying to work out who’s working for who. Who’s the bad cop and who’s a good cop. The whole time you were thinking, are they in on the plan? Are they working for the evil guy?

The whole cast played there roles super well, with a bit of comedy throughout it. The movie was very interesting and got straight into the action right away. I would give Man on a Ledge, a 7 out of 10 rating. I recommend everyone see this movie!
